my process

"Pregnancy is a process that
invites you to surrender to the unseen force behind all life."

   -Judy Ford

I use the Traditional Chinese Method that has been practiced for centuries. This
involves steaming your placenta with lemon, ginger and green chili.

Steaming the placenta helps kill off any bacteria it may have been exposed to in the
birthing process. The TCM allows for the capsules to give mom energy needed
throughout the day, and a restful sleep at night.

The Raw method has been reported to give moms a burst of energy shortly after
taking the capsule, which I feel may deplete moms energy stores more quickly
than desired.

It is also thought best to avoid taking the placenta caps if you are experiencing
any symptoms of illness, inflammation or mastitis because the heat or Yang in
the capsules will feed the inflammation.

After steaming the placenta, I then slice it thinly and place it in the dehydrator
for 12-13 hours until completely dried. The strips are then ground into powder
and placed in vegetable capsules using a capsule machine. They are then placed
into a glass jar and given to you!
